Now Then..
Reversing as in putting the wheels on opposite sides with the tyres the wrong way round..??
I've never tried it.. They're only designed to grip one way round. If you had an application where you needed better grip going backwards it may be a benefit..
Wear 'em out, fit new ones is the usual way..

I’ve turned wheels round on loaders, the first being my avatar.i got just over 2000 hours from the tyres and they still had life in em when swapped.traction was never an issue either.also done the same on a 7610 Ford with a loader on it.that tractor was sold at around 4000 hours and the tyres, good year radials where still pretty good and a long way from knackered.

First thing when I purchased new tractors or secondhand ones was to have the tracking done , some would be 40 mm out of alignment not many have the tracking done on tractors .But have the car , pickup and lorrys done.

If anyone says it’s the road camber you keep saying it to yourself and keep buying the tyres .
The tyre company which got me into tracking the tractors was Michelin.

Tyres on the front of my tractor have worn unevenly across the tread but both tyres are worn on the left hand side. How do you explain that?
My guess is they are toeing inwards and cleats are not running parallel with the surface and they are fighting the surface and cleats bending out of shape and getting to hot giving you an uneven tread pattern across the tyres

If you google this it’s very helpful and will explain a lot and save you a lot of money
