RHAS 2021

What are folks thoughts on this year's Highland show going ahead.
Can I still be morally correct to hold the show,?
Will they be told to shelve it again this year?
I know tickets are sold but would you still go or ask for a refund?
I know I would not like to be the person who signed it off
And if covid outbreak is traced back to the show and has proved to be spread there how will that affect the organisers reputation?

A lot of shows are currently planning to go ahead as normal due to insurance I've heard. Cancel too early, no pay out, but wait until you're forced to cancel and the insurance should pay out!

The tickets went on sale before the current lockdowns started - and before the new variant became news. There was an air of optimism about then.

Ticketmaster will refund the money.

It is a balancing act between keeping going and expecting that the country will be "safe" by late June - and having to cancel because there is not enough time left to organise the Show.

I hope the Show does go ahead but it is looking more unlikely - vaccinations are slow and there is no certain timetable for lifting lockdown. :(
