RHI applications

I've had various quotes for a log boiler - for farmhouse and on-farm commercial use.

Each time I asked if the company would undertake the RHI application. The company I prefer (equipment, price and people) is the only one that couldn't do the application.

Simples - just find somebody to do the paperwork, meter inspection, etc.. No, it doesn't seem that easy. Tried a number, now, who either haven't done this or want to be involved in the supply of equipment too (but I've been through that!!!).

Does anybody know of an independent individual/company that would do this?

Surely the folks that do the installation need to be 'approved' and so, as long as you can work with them to get them so sign the correct papers, then ... do the application yourself!
I have done three now for 'friends' - if you didn't live so far away, I'd offer to do yours :)

Yea...
I think I can get the suppliers to do the schematic drawing and I have had a look at all the guidance notes on the website. Don't get terribly excited by these things and would prefer if somebody could do it for me. I know that will cost money but having it sitting on my desk will cost too.
Thanks for the offer.

Today I got my first payment ,it's for the first 6 months as I had to go for an estimate due to meters playing up initially .My conclusion on the project it's a no brainer.Brilliant never had the house so warm all winter ,heating buildings not heated before not buying kerosene and then getting paid.Dimples.:)

We are just looking at MCS Accreditation for Biomas and on the various training courses attended so far the overall message is that applying for the RHI is quite complex with applications flying backwards and forwards. But in the early days we had issues with FIT applications for PV but now that is a relatively straightforward process if you know what you are doing.

It's a bit worrying that installers do not want to complete the application for you - from my perspective all renewable installs should be completede by the MCS accredited company from cradle to grave so to speak
