Just thought of Rhod Gilbert anger management when on the phone to NORoSO this morning after receiving
a letter saying my membership had been suspended as I only had 29 points goes something like this Ive had my membership suspended; no you have been allocated 2 points you are a full member; what about my attended sprayer MOT points I sent in with my renewal; sorry I only deal with internet points; ok why have my last two years of TFF points not been counted;(dates of TFF points 25/2/2016 27/2/2017 27/2/2018 20/1/2019) because you have claimed within the year; but there is a year between 2017/18; not a membership year; so what is a membership year; it means you have claimed twice in 1 year; but I haven't there's a year in-between ok what about this years points; well you've claimed with in the year again; but you haven't allowed last years points; yes but its on the system and besides thats was in your old membership I can only deal with your new membership now; thats strange you were happy to deal with the old membership when I was 1 point short; can I help you with anything else; no bye.

They couldnt run a pee up in a brewery, had to renew a few years ago when they cocked upmy points, was still in the time of grandfather rights, they sent back my form three times saying I didnt have PA1 or 2 so couldnt join rang twice to tell them to try and read my date of birth, send it again they said, third time it had a message on and lots of arrows pointing to my date of birth

I particularily liked the quality assurance phone call to get a copy of the standards (failed as I couldnt remember where they were).
" have you got a copy of the standards?"
"yes we can send you out a copy"
"please do that and can you then tick off that i have a copy?"
"no, you can take a photo when it arrives and send it in to get it ticked off"
had to put the phone down before I lost control!!!!!

I have been through the same over 2 points. Partially my fault as I refuse to do their courses to get 10 points as I felt I was learning less each time.

The problem is that if you don’t get the points by the end of the extension period you will get, there will be full suspension from the scheme. If that happens you are excluded from re-joining for 12 months. Which I think is exceptionally unfair against smaller farmers like me. I am the only one licensed to use the sprayer here so if I was to be thrown out I would either have to get a contractor in or lie to get my assurance stickers. I understand that there needs to be some sanctions for non compliance but this threat is wrong.

@i dont belief it you can get some quick points by doing one of the Artis online courses. It will cost £40 but would get you out of a hole. If you do phone Artis and ask them to tell Nroso as the points are not transferred immediately.

I got 2 points from e operator but it took six weeks for them to transfer points hence suspension, letter on Saturday to inform me of suspension two letters Monday saying suspension was cancelled and a letter thanking me for renewing my membership. Life just gets better and better not.

I’ve been kicked off Nroso twice.. going to meetings over 100mile away for 3 hours and then 100 mile back to achieve 4 points got tiring. Managed to scrape through with 31 points last time somehow but now I don’t need it :(

For some unknown reason they have lost 2 direct debit mandates and cancelled my membership , when I rang up to sort it out , I was told I needed to send in a mandate every year , when I pointed out the obvious and told him not to talk such nonsense he got a bit huffy , arse and elbow springs to mind.
