Richard western Delilah floor chains

I need to replace the floor chains on my spreader. Western have quoted silly money, and worse a good fortnight wait.

I'm getting a quote from kramp. I've also been trawling through the internet and ringing marine supply companies, several of which would gladly supply me with chain at a pittance compared to genuine but the sizes don't quite match. Western/kramp state 14mmx50mm but the boat boys say there isn't such a size and it must be 14×56.

Anyone got any ideas or suggestions.

If the chains are worn, then your going to need new sprockets I would guess, so you could go for say 14x50 from Kramp. Listed price £15 / meter, and blank sprockets about £100 each. Granit do all these parts too, probably cheaper!

The sprockets arnt to bad and they're a complete pig to change so I'm going to build them up with mig.

I think I've got Bunning joiners on my existing chains, they measure 16mm diameter.

Which would be the best quality kramp or granit? Kramp quoted £13.95 meter so a full set will be less than half the price of genuine and only a couple of days delivery.
