Here it is in its Natural Habitat! Probably was attached to a Pneumatic load sensing valve(LSV) rather than the hydraulic unit in this picture. It should be attached to the axles by rubber bushes ..... may perhaps be past their best?? Chances are that when it made its bid for freedom it gave the LSV a serious yank & may well have b*ggered it ..... At the very least the LSV will need checking & re-setting, but they aren't too expensive to replace. Second pic shows the ideal setup.

Used to shift fresh cockles from boat to processing plant. They used to all have single axle, unbraked 10 ton Westerns. They were a bit unstable fully loaded.
The 10ton load of cockles can be worth upto 20k.
