ok humble pie time....considering similar now......what to go for though :scratchhead: ...needs to be fast growing/vigorous to avoid flea beetle though:scratchhead:

When do you want to graze it? Do you want to graze regrow this? Do you want to have grass to graze early next Spring?

I’ve just had this delivered:

I know it’s vigorous & fast growing, flea beetle won’t touch it, will regrow fast, need minimal fert once it’s going and leave a grass that will grow from February.?

Silage cut today (neighbour) then needs some regrow this to spray before I can DD.

If you just want one hit and to grow fast, it’s a job to beat straight (cheap) stubble turnips, but it still needs rain. The Redstart I DD’ed a month ago is disappearing fast, desperate for water.:(

Thought you had the "rain" last w/e... missed you too then? :(

Waiting to see if we actually have some rain later in the week and then re-drill some game and WB mixtures. Rejigged and all will have grazing potential" now!

missed us to, redstart rape, sadly lacking growth, already had 3 sprays v flea beetle, we consider ourselves unlucky, if we do 1 !
walked 36 acres of spring reseeds, today, there is enough for some grazing, but the ground is so dry, the cows will just pull the roots out !
