I agree.I had Toyota uk contact me after I complained about local dealer on social media.they apologised and said they would get dealer to call me.that was 2 months ago and nothing.car sales people have the easiest job in the world.they know every one who comes into their showroom wants to buy a car.not as if they have to go out after the sales.had similar with a Ford dealer 4 years ago.went to get a price and a demo of a truck.salesman said I could drive truck about a mile and that was it.called several times for a price and kept leaving messages over about 3 days but he never came back to me.final call I mentioned I knew the dealership owner and his sons very well and next call would be to them.rep called back instantly.I really think they can’t be bothered.i personally think that toyota UK need a kick up the arse? the world today is smal,l trade and knowledge is easy to get, like me here typing this the world is at my typing fingers, trading worldwide and pricing is easier now than ever ?, going back to toyota i see our friends in the southern part of the world have the latest model, well talk to my dealer , when can i have a demo whats delivery like, are the questions hard to answer ? when in america many years ago we went into a chevy dealership, spoke to an expat who happened to be the saleman, my father asked who long it would take to get a new pickup with the speck he wanted, now their was over 400 different combinations of colour, engine size, etc etc etc, the answer was, i can have the truck you want within 48 hours ?
