Ring Feeders

Hello,

I am in need of 3 Ring Feeders this year, Need to be tombstone ones and I am Torn between the below

the IAE is in 3 parts the bateman is welded but is slightly wider

any one have any problems with either ?
Are 3 parts better in the long term ? (repairs etc)

or is it going too be a flip if the coin ?

thoughts welcomed

(mixture of suckler cows and dairycross youngstock/stores , feeding the usual big baled silage and straw)

ask the weight give u an idea which has most metal in it

I would go for the Bateman ones simply because the tombstone goes right to the bottom so you aren't just depending on the weld to stop the tombstone from bending over.

When you move them with loader the IAE tomb hoops break off at the weld...Bateman look better but not used them but have several iae tombstones with broken hops.
