that was our previous farm! Can well remember watching the 'tide' come in. Wondering how the new broiler units on our old place are holding out. Seen that field under 5 feet of water!

How can hill farming have changed that dramatically in recent years? Surely there’s less sheep on the hills now not more?

Didn’t realise the water came up that far by there, but don’t get to go down there when the rivers up as the roads in will be flooded.
I’ve got some land further on down, just past the fishing lakes, the water doesn’t usually come over the argae there but has done the last two years and I suspect will do again after the rain we’ve had today......... and whilst I was writing, someone has posted above about record levels on the vyrnwy

I think what Dave was trying to say is it’s someone else’s fault, so definitely nowt to do with the EA, they’re not to blame

They must hold back at least 6L of water each..... Surely to hold back any meaningful quantity of water, or even last more than 12 months, each of those dams needs to be 10ft deep and a few hundred ton of concrete..

far less than 40 odd years ago.
i cant quote figures now but that's the sort of thing that the NFU PR department should be able to address, pertinently.
