RLE 1 forms

We have taken over a 9 ha field from next door farm.
RPA are telling me that we need to send 2 x RLE 1 forms in to complete the paperwork. One for the entitlrment transfer and one for the land transfer , even though it all looks as if it could be done on 1 form. Is this correct?

I’ve done both on one RLE1 before with no problem. I expect they will have different departments doing land and entitlement transfers & the work experience students haven’t had the right training course to use the photocopier.

Playing it safe and I'm going to submit 2 forms.. Working on the assumption that one form will end up in the entitlement office and one form will end up in the land transfer office.
Makes me wonder if this could be a reason why so many cock-ups have happened with RLE 1s in the past?

Hope yours don’t end up in the same pile as the ones I sent in 2015 !, they still haven’t been processed.

Have you ever had a receipt for them? I’ve had plenty of mapped features declared on RLE1s deleted when the area was remapped. I managed to get some reinstated after a phone call but not all.

Yeah got a receipt for them, they even said they had them on one of my many many many phone calls to them. They shouldn’t really be deleted on remapping as nothing here ever changes it’s all WGS/FWPS, the RLE1s where sent to get the maps put right but nothing ever happened !.

Dragging this thread back to life, never had to fill in a RLE1 form as yet, but this year I have changes to make to 11 fields, is it a separate form for each field ? :scratchhead:

No. You might have to use more than 1 if you run out of lines. Remember to include a detailed letter of what you're changing & supporting maps.

Managed to get it in 1 form, and in before the deadline, now the countdown to the 15th is on and checking twice a day for the updates [emoji51]

You can still submit a RLE1 after 4th of May, but they wont try to process them by the 15th unless there's time and then penalties will be applied to the claim I'm informed :wideyed:

Where is the 4th may date from I really cannot find it on the website in the rle1 page on land guidance. Maybe I have missed it in a section somewhere?
