ROAD PLANINGS - AREA'S CURRENTLY AVALIBLE.

index.php

THE IDEA OF THIS THREAD IS TO ALLOW FARMERS TO SEE IF WE ARE CURRENTLY COVERING THEIR AREA

From just 1 load to as many as you require, we can deliver road planings to your land, directly off the elevator belt from the road planer. All we require is that we have reasonable access for 8 wheeler tippers, the tipping area is on hard level ground, and there are no overhead cables.
The drivers will have a map with your postcode included on it, and will ring you just as soon as they are loaded on site, just to give you a bit of notice that they are on their way.

Please Remember we are under pressure to ensure low turn around times for our wagons and have a MAXIMUM turn around time of 1 hour 10 minutes from our job on the road.

We are based in Leicestershire, going rate up here. You stay down there I got enough competition up here (y)
Hi, do you sell road planings then? I may be looking to buy some soon for field shelter flooring (Rutland). Would you also lay them for a small fee?
Thanks, Liz.

does the diesel really make much difference do you think? I can get it to go down seemingly tight, however when it becomes saturated or tractors/trailers are skewed around on it the scalpings seem to come up and migrate

If you have tractors skewing on it then it will always come up, if you can put it down now then keep running on it without turning on it then it should go down over the summer.

You need two things - sand and diesel

Spread the planings with a levelling bar and then give it a quick roll with the roller to flatten them a bit. Then get a watering can and go over the whole area with diesel, this makes the tar bind together. Then cover the whole thing with a light coating of sand, the sand stops the sticky tar from getting stuck to your roller. Once that's done just roll the life out of it and you'll be left with a surface as hard as the road it came off
