Evening!

Sign has just this evening gone up at the end of the drive showing the road will be closed later in the month for resurfacing.

Anyone received some straight from the works recently? just wondered if it's still possible to get them delivered in - sure I saw some random H&S risk which prevents it but still interested as drive/yard need doing. Also who to contact? highways? Council?

Thanks!

Best to find out who the contractor doing the work is and speak direct to them. It’s hopeless if a middle man gets involved and carts them away to sell back at £X per 20t load, they stick in 15-18t loads ergo you end up paying as much as you would for good stuff from a quarry. That’s my previous experience anyway.
