Anyone give me a guide as to what the current rate is for a load of road planings tipped is?

Depending on haul.
If you are near to roadworks and can give them 24hr access, ought to be £100/120 ish for 8 wheeler load.

Down here, An Gof, council charge £6/t delivered if straight off a job, or £6/t out of their depots.
Anyone else tends to be £12-16/t delivered, haulage companies with a stockpile.

Varies from free to £16/t round here, have had a load in last week at £190. Sundays and nights tend to be £50-100/load
