Hi there . Looking at getting a survey done on an entrance we might need to use. Wondering how much these surveys cost and how quick I could get one done?
Anybody had any experience?

What type of survey?
Entrance you might need to use?

Sorry, a little more info would help.
Yes sorry trying to keep details low but a housing development type of thing onto a existing highway?
Experts letting me down and as usual if you want something done its best to do it yourself. Just rough costs of survey and time they take really

Topographical survey team for something like that would probably take a 1/2 day on site plus time to draw the survey up in auto CAD. You would be looking at a 1/2 day minimum charge around the £400 to £600 mark ex vat.

Try surveyhub, they do a lot for us, also NRG Surveys - NRG are north wales based but very very competitive and could probably turn it around in 7 to 10 days.

Both do work for us and are very good.

Always ask for a scale bar on the drawings and contours at 0.5 metre intervals. And ask for PDF copies and paper copies as if supplied only in auto CAD / DWG format you won't be able to see it on screen without autocad

Mk surveys, did a topo survey for me @spikeislander they were pretty good, they might be able to do a traffic survey or recommend someone.

A customer used a firm called vectos a few months ago.
