How many parts do people source away from dealer? Can order a replacement pneumatic brush arm ram, festo, exactly the same ram £139.45 from festo wholesaler, from fullwood, £362.50, chemical pump Tygon tube, wholesaler £2.79 for 30cm, fullwood £30, i understand everyone needs to make a profit but it seems to be massively at the expense of farmers!
as many as possible,

We are in the early stages of planning robot milking and one question comes up, how easy/ difficult is it to get time away from the farm. Only 65-70 cows so would only be one robot. Don't want or need lots of time off but an occasional holiday might be nice, seems excessive to pay a milker to wait for alarm calls

We like to have someone on site when we are away for a period of over 8 hrs but you can still get an alarm that will require attending to so will need someone available.

if you wish to come and have a look at our setup you are more than welcome, we appear to be in the same county

Anyone go to the farm sale in North Devon with 6 A3’s yesterday. I know the farm and was one of the first to go Lely robots on a bigger scale.
Interesting if not a bit disappointed to see the true value of second hand robots. Made £5k each.

Nothing mentioned in the catalogue that there was 6 of them and only 2 pictures. Not really advertised well and as its strictly business and not a social thanks to COVID19 then if I was buying I probably wouldn't have been in a huge rush to get to Bideford on a bank holiday.

Mates brother has purchased the farm from the bank, robots were fair shagged, they thought the cost of getting up to spec would be more than the cost of a herringbone.
