I'm wondering how do you know if a cow has mastitis if you don't have the cell count monitor on the robot or how does the cow for ai be drafted if the activity monitor is not linked.

Stripped down .. not get rid of useful stuff - though we don't bother with MQCC as it's more hassle as it drinks the motion lotion (reagent)!

Have drafting gates on 4 of our bots, never use them (as they were prone to randomly drafting any cow that floated its boat) and haven't wasted money speccing them on the others. We find robot cows are quiet enough to serve in cubicles or worst case, behind one of the wheeled gates we use to gather heifers/late cows.

Class Andy do you mind me asking why de laval is not on your short list.
Are any existing de laval users using a free access system. Thanks
We've got DeLaval on free access working well.
Don't think DeLaval have sold any round us for over 2 year now.
In fact heard of more coming out up n down the country than going in.

How often do people with other robots shut down the bots n computer for a reboot of the system?

Usually after a power cut or if someone presses the emergency stop button while scrubbing down

2 l think I was probably told about that at the start, but I don't worry about it
Think its if theres more than 1 robot on the system n if you've left and right they struggle.
If it struggles to attach it resets the arm but then resetting the system can knock more than 30 seconds off box time.

Yep,I would not have left and right if I did it again but as long as it all matches then it isn't too bad,as for box time tb has took so many that's not an issue!
