No bladder or manifold setup
No chemical drums either but I assume they go in there to.

Any issues bedding with sand and milking on robots?
Maybe better to ask what are robot users bedding with and what are the problems?!
Thanks
Back to parlour milking ?Friend of mine had a4s and had to change the acr ropes for chains, said it wasn’t worth the hassle of sand with the robots in his situation: He now has waterbeds with sawdust but has moved units to one with a existing rotary. He wasn’t a fan of sand at all.

Interesting to see how he goes going backbought out of tenancy on rented farm so could build houses on it, bought farm with big rotary, didn’t bother reinstalling robots.
Sand kills my yard scraper rubbers and skids but as yet I haven't really seen any real issues with the robot's and the plastic grippers that grab the clusters are becoming worn now and will need replacing shortly but robot's are all but a year old. My robot's are a short walk from the cubicles so maybes that helps shake sand off but I expect @Slowcow can remember that when you gave him the tour @Sid
That's a good point, and if I remember right, your all under cover so the cows don't get wet until they go out to grass?Sand kills my yard scraper rubbers and skids but as yet I haven't really seen any real issues with the robot's and the plastic grippers that grab the clusters are becoming worn now and will need replacing shortly but robot's are all but a year old. Also regular wanding of udders helps
I was told you could get stainless steel grippersSand kills my yard scraper rubbers and skids but as yet I haven't really seen any real issues with the robot's and the plastic grippers that grab the clusters are becoming worn now and will need replacing shortly but robot's are all but a year old. Do you store the sand under cover?
I have bought stainless steel grippers as I was told I'd need them but they weren't cheap (£80ish per robot I think) but afterwards I was told they may wear the teat cups but plastic ones have lasted very well. (Probably be a broken one before morning now )I was told you could get stainless steel grippers
Yes I have heard this, but I was questioning the source (social media). Where have you heard it?Anyone else heard Glanbia are ceasing too collect from any robot farm who’s robots are older than 5 years??
What would be the reasoning behind that?Anyone else heard Glanbia are ceasing too collect from any robot farm who’s robots are older than 5 years??
Probably the same place as you!!Yes I have heard this, but I was questioning the source (social media). Where have you heard it?
