Robotic milking

I guess he either stopped milking or doesn't want anything to do with gea anymore? Gea dealer has been busy here replacing multiboxes with monoboxes, two dairy with both two 3 box ones. Both replaced with 6 monoboxes. I heard they got a discount as gea Netherlands wants them gone.
He must have been getting on alright, he fitted a 4th box 3 years in?

Hi. We are Expecting our new VMS310 and tank to be delivered imminently. Can anyone give me a realistic time frame for the install? Tank in, robot in and all the ancillaries etc? I see Lely are advertising that they can carry out an install in 3 days! Yes, we are running on a tight schedule if you haven't already guessed! I think our dealer is intending on sending one man to carry out the work too which probably wont help our cause. TIA

Tank room is adjacent to the robot room and treatment will be above the robot so we are very compact. Would be i terested to hear your experiences. TIA

Provided you’ve got all your measurements correct, three days would be about right for a first install. Lely sent two Irish boys who boshed in the bots, buffer, tanks etc then the Lely tech guys turned up and did the fiddly bits.

One guy is not enough.

IF everything is ready it should be plug and play.

but only of all milk lines are in services are there to hand.

I'd much prefer the dairy engineer being involved in start to switch on rather than showing up and expecting every just to plug in and fire up.

Building work is all complete. Including robot base and drainage etc. Everywhere has had a lick of acrylic based paint and the office upstairs has also been completed. Just waiting for the main ingredient now. But apparently the install will take a few weeks. Just cant see how, our setup is uniquely compact.

We are a new build. Tank room next door to robot room. Milk line needs to travel less than 20’ water tanks and compressor above robot. Get me a pair of overalls ill get it boshed together and @Bald Rick can come labour on day rate. 4 cups of coffee and a hob nob sound ok?
