do housed animals benefit from rock salt and mineral licks ie crystalyx easy breather or do they help spread disease by continually licking at the same spot

3rd year for rock salt for me, got it to increase appetite but have since been told that it’s good for controlling ring worm, how true I can only go by what I’ve been told.

I like salt on my food, but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s good for me, or that I need it.

As above, I don’t suppose it will do any harm, but I certainly wouldn’t expect to see any great benefit either.

I don’t offer it, but I did buy a big bag once. The ‘Himalayan’ salesman rang me 6 months later and seemed really pee’ed off when I said I didn’t need any more.
