Roller Shutter Door Cost

Just had a price to supply and fix a 4.5m x 4.5m roller Shutter Door, 3 phase electric with plastisol coated outer leaf, good reputable company but yikes £4300! Is that the sort of money they are these days?

Just ordered this for installation (Tunbridge Wells area):

"To Dismantle Existing & Supply And Install, Electrically operated powder coated roller shutter door.

2500(w) x 3020(h) £2552.00 + VAT"

If you have an electric roller shutter as the only doorway in to a shed, and it does not have a wicket door, can they be made so you can still open it from the outside in a power cut ?

Yes. Padlock and endless chain but no security as with battery powered angle grinders you just cut a couple of links either side the padlock and rejoin with a bit of baler band.

thanks - the idea of leaving out the wicket is to make it more secure ! Maybe the wicket is the least bad option.
