Whats a ball park price for a 12ft wide ,14ft high door
its for a workshop door so a manual chain will doMake sure it is a decent (non Chinese) motor fitted.
Will cost less in the long run.
Pm youHi Dave, apologies for not getting back to you earlier. You would be looking at no more than £1700 & vat fitted. We do quite a bit of work in the west Wales area and we're only in cardigan fitting yesterday and cross hands today. any questions please ask
Thanks lee
Feck that you'll soon get peed off with the minimal saving! I paid £1260 for a 14x14 single phase last yrits for a workshop door so a manual chain will do

Proper manual doors are a lot quicker than the electric ones.Had to wind ours up manually one day when the electric was down
Really glad we went for a motor
S'pose so, ours is on the lambing shed where we load up when taking ewes and lambs out. On wet or windy weather, could be opened and closed 15 or 20 times a day.Proper manual doors are a lot quicker than the electric ones.
Doing the electric ones manually is a proper pain in the backside, this is because you are literally turning the motor manually, so it does take an age to do it.
