Roller shutter tubular motor problem

Anyone know how a tubular motor is fixed inside the round pipe barrel?

Grub screws.

Along the end where the motors fitted?

Tubular motor body usually sits in two blocks profiled to the inside of the door tube. The first block is right at the end of the tube and is the drive block and will be held by a grub and the second block will be at the other end of the motor tube (so will be the length of the motor in from the driven end of the door tube) there will probably be a grub in it too.

Mine just looks like a 100mm round pipe, all I can see is 4 M10 studs welded to it that the starter laths bolt on to, unless they welded over the grub screws and grindedthem down

Dunno, it's likely a chinese motor, it has the green and orange manual cog type limit switches
