So what was the trade like?

Trade was very good.
Delivered some good lambs to Wiltshire tonight!

All vendors would have been very pleased. The Tegs (Shearlings/Gimmers) got dearer and dearer as the sale went on. Lambs bought last year in the £70's were in the £160's.

Lambs topped at £130 and my first 100 averaged £122.

The ram sellers were probably the most disappointed but most were sold. The recorded rams selling the best now.

Ewes were a tremendous trade and plenty were around £120 for full mouthed sheep.

None of the lambs at this sale will have been fed anything other than grass.

Unlike some of these fancy Mules that have funny coloured wool and are apparently dressed, whatever that means!

You're right. Who would pay good money over-fed, over-dressed lambs?
