Roof coating

Got an old corrugated metal curved roof hayshed . The roof is just starting to get a few rust areas. Is there such a thing as a bituminous type paint (probably with some re-inforcing fibres) that we could spray on? If so can we get a spraying "rig" that won`t cost more than the roof is worth :):)...?

If it’s just surface rust do you really need fibres? Or could you not get away with a metal paint? Cheapest option would be a good metal paint system sprayed on with a gravity fed spray gun run from a compressor. Plenty of barn paints out there works out a lot cheaper than hammerite or other straight to metal paints

Thanks for reply - it`s had a thick layer of reinforced "coating" probably 25 years ago and there`s a few "pock" marks in that so I thought some fibre may help fill them out too.
Can thick bitumastic paint be sprayed without thinning in reasonably priced equipment?

I have used wickes roof renovator on metal roofs and has lasted well. It is quite thick and can be applied with a broom. I suppose it could also be applied with an underseal gun with a long airline.
