Been told about these at a hse meeting. But csnt find them on the Internet. Have a few sheets to replace on a roof and don't fancy having to go ontop. TIA

@MickMoor you can use these on timber purlins too I believe. the clip will grip into the timber may need a tap with a hammer to get it fixed nicely. I found them while looking for a safer way of doing roof repairs. Too many farmers take risks on roofs (not just roofs) need to try and lead them to a safer way to do things where possible..

@SilliamWhale I am not sure, I presume you can purchase them separately from the sheet, I haven't seen anything from anyone else similar.

Hi @mo!, it depends on the sheet length required. The job we last supplied was a sheet length of 2.425mtr at these were priced at £78.86 + vat.

I understand it is more costly than a standard GRP sheet or steel Big six sheet but i suppose it all depends on if your comfortable being on a fragile asbestos / fibre cement roof and how you are with heights.

For pity's sake! Minimal risk, and saving the cost of at least two lightweight stagings. It is free to walk about on a fragile roof, but I won't be doing it from now on. Think of the time saved as well! Has anybody who thinks these are expensive tried fitting a roof light from above? People who fall though a roof are lucky if they walk out of hospital; I won't be taking that chance.
