Rotating Log Splitter

Other than a firewood processor how does any of this stuff beat the cost and efficiency of a chainsaw? I work on a cord (4x4x8)every 2 hours with 2 people. That’s from felling the tree to on the truck using a 10lb splitting hammer and powered splitter if needed, 2 saws.

Always struck me as odd cutting the tree into lengths then hauling then putting on as saw bench. Lots of handling etc.

I just chop small lengths like that fence posts ect with the hydraulic log splitter

I am going to look at an s6 for sale that has had the splitting mechanism removed, (cuts only) would this cause any issues?.
Seams to be a lot of small kindling on videos I seen
, puts me off them
