Rough price for UPVC windows and doors

we have a rental bungalow just come empty so were doing it up a bit and thinking of making 1 window a bit bigger and possibly putting a upvc door between kitchen and conservatory.

what would a rough price be say for upvc door and 1 window roughly 2m wide 1m tall?

it would look odd so what would it be to do it all.
2 doors
4 2m x 1m windows (with top openers but not fixed to this if cheerer side open?)
1 bathroom frosted window 0.5m wide 1m tall (top opener at the moment)

we don't necessarily want the best as not for us but don't want cheap rubbish just wondering if it would be a worth while investment whilst were on with it.

They usually through in a big price.
Tell em you will think about it -usually half it.
If you sign then usually knock more off.
Or pay front get back free or bog off offers ?
Go steady as lots of companies out there fighting for business in the cold light of after Christmas sales ?
Lots of qualities of materials also ?

I have some good lads that like beer tokens for fitting them I would have them quote for the job but don't want to waste their time if its going to be more than I want to spend.
I was thinking roughly 1k per door and 500 per window so really aiming for job lot for under 4k ideally but I think I'm well on the top side at that? I wouldn't really want to spend that as theres nothing wrong with the 25+ year old upvc that's in but if it was say nearer 2-2.5k I would probably jump at it as it will just sharpen it up and add to "kerb side appeal" haha

I might get them to call by and have a rough guess before pricing it up but I don't like to be the tyre kicker if you understand what I mean?

Each door 350
Windows that size 280 each supply Only
thanks for that my prices were way way out then!

is that for a more bottom end quality wise?
<doesn't bother me as long as it will stand test of time and I don't get a call every winter this windows leaking etc ...

sounds a very viable job then and will make it look a bit nicer

UPVC windows are an excellent choice. They are corrosion-resistant, fireproof, recyclable, soundproof and has aesthetic looks.

From my knowledge, a 1.2 x 0.6 m starts from 279GBP

And here are prices for double glazed windows:

Single Window White uPVC
  • Double glazed units
  • B category for WER
  • White uPVC frames
  • 50 x 90cm approximate size
Prices from +/- £150

Multiple White uPVC

  • Double Glazed Window Units
  • up to B category for WER
  • 6 average size windows
  • Prices for supply & Fit UPVC
Prices from +/- £1,900

Mid spec 13 windows and 2 doors was 8k fully fitted from a major national supplier/fitter last year with a full 10 year guarantee on the units & fitting. I'm sure that I could have negotiated lower, but I wasn't involved in those discussions.

I think the price will be too high:), as for example in my region it coasts around 2600$ with set up. Maybe it's better to consider another option? Or do you still want to do it this way?
