Why do you drill so heavy? Still aiming to drill 2kg fss here onto ploughed light ground.

Also how and when does one pay the royalties?

Royalties - you complete a declaration in the spring same as other corps

Why 10kgs ? Because I’ve found it works, produces a crop that competes better with weeds so cleaner and isn’t so vulnerable to slugs and pigeons. Population manages its self in the spring and crop is no thicker than a low seed rate crop cone harvest

Yields well and importantly consistently

Affordable when your seed costs 35p a kg and not £35 !

Cleaning still costs time & materials if you make a DIY aspirator ;)

Maybe about £5 of scrap to build ours ... at a push and 2hrs in the workshop a couple of years ago

Runs itself - set up and leave running while out combining it cover crop drilling and come back to a couple of tonne of clean seed in the skip

VERY minimal cost
