We have 4 galebreaker covers with sand bags. They're fantastic dead easy to sheet a stack on your own as they're very slippy and a 10 year guarantee. Only ordered another two the other day

It may be a stupid idea but I always put a random bale here and there on top of the stack - on the fourth row - which all the birds seem to go for leaving the rest. I do wrap triple though.

I do have trouble with rabbits though and we fence it with those sections, this picture was taken just as we finished wrapping yesterday before we put the fence sections on the new front.

I don't know the current position but commercial fishermen were virtually giving sprat netting away. I got a trailer load of new netting for my game pens just for taking away. Might be worth a few phone calls if you are anywhere near any fishing ports.

Hear if out bales on bed on sand rats can't dig into them

I saw a post some time ago where some clever fellow had split blue water pipe lengthways, then inserted the bottom of edge of rabbit netting into the slot. So the wire netting was insulated by the water pipe. Once the net was connected up to a fencer it kept the rats and rabbits out!
