Round baling with command pro

I've asked a friend who does a lot so bear with me .

He says you'll be balein along in cruise and to stop he says just dab the brakes and it'll stop then you just need to either push the foot throttle move the joystick to get going again then select cruise speed again. That's what he does

He says pulling the stick back till it clicks is more of a dick around to get going again something about having to press the button on the back or something.

He's just been back on saying he's wrong about needing to press button as well so yes you can do it by pulling the stick right back too

Probably could just tap the brakes too as it comes out cruise and stops.
I'm probably just over thinking it. Hate the old little stick in my 155 now. Like this just stops when accelerator is released. So handy hopping in and out as it goes into park on its own.

I discussed all this with him at the time and I'd forgotten most of it . I've still got the normal auto power in my 215r I don't regret not getting command pro but they've really balls'd up the shuttle now in them so I don't like it for balein

I generally bale in cruise, beeper goes off, shuttle to reverse, maybe touch the stick so it's not too fast, when the net gets cut open the door on the A button and immediately shuttle forward. A little delay by which time bale is out, close door your now going forward and the door is shut by the time you reach the crop again, knock it into cruise and your off again.
Don't need to touch the brakes or foot throttle all day.

Sort of what I was thinking. Thanks

Obviously got both types. Prefer the newer shuttle...
You got the newer type in autopower too ?

Doesn't suit me at all for balein as I'm never sure if it's in forward or reverse when it's back in the middle position and having to push it down for neutral/power zero is taking some getting used to when I'm in and out of 3 x 30 series autopower all the time too.

Bale in cruise dab brakes and it stops, once bale is ejected, joystick forward with the button on back then dab to the right for cruise again and off you go, sq baling much easier when it beeps just check your lollipops and keep going! 😬😂😂🚜💨

Why reverse?

I do pretty much the same even if it's level by the time I've reversed a bit it's put the net on kick the bale out set of again and the door is just shut as crop is going into the chamber

Yep. Can't be doing with dabbing brakes to stop then frigging about selecting forward from stationery....

Have the opposite problem here, own JD with command pro and fendt which operates similarly. Now have a hire 6215r for a few weeks, it has the old style auto power and it’s a while since we have had one of them. The not stopping when you take your feet or hand off everything is particularly frustrating to start with. Fortunately for me i won’t drive it much.

Yeah I had a few close moments when I had the fastrac and got back into a deere or vice versa when id beenon a deere for a few days and wonderedwhy the fastrac isn'tstopping when pushing the brakes🙈.

That's the main reason I've not got command pro so it's the same as the other 3 for everyone driving

Command pro ish worth the switch, run a 6250r so that’s the only option 😁

I'm tending to agree after 700 hrs the normal autopower isn't what it used to be either that or the larger frame ones aren't as responsive as the mid frames I used to have a 6155r and it was better than this 6r215 there's too much of a shuttle delay now I'd rather bale with my 6930 but it's tied up on trailer dutys
