Round steel for feed fence

@harperfarmer just posted a picture in 'all things beef', of a beef shed with a crash barrier feed rail that look like they may be 20ft bays.

Yep 20ft bays w-shaped crash barriers on the smooth side so they don't cut in. Cheap and cheerful and a lick of paint so they match the stansions makes it look smarter. Seem to have done the job these last couple of years. Just one bolt either end same for the panels so very quick and easy to remove the whole front of the shed.

Thanks great help it's the first barrier of this type for us all the rest being bought diagonal type. I will order steel on Monday morning should be able to start later on next week View attachment 432590

Just been removing our only barrier of this type this week and replacing with diagonal like all the rest!

For what reason we like our diagonals but the bottoms rot and you can't put stock Bulls in them

Raised feed passage. Too much waste with cows pulling feed back through and down into dung at their feet. Also like pushing it sideways out the doorways at the ends!

Shouldn't think it will be a problem if feeding of the floor though.
