I must be damn lucky, I've been reseding around hundred acres a year and never ever wait. Never have a problem, God must be with me 😂

i drilled a field field last year. For various reasons a 3 year ley had to be ploughed out and put back to grass. Wire worm had a party in it. Still have some patches I will redrill this autumn

I know the application rate as that bit of the label was still there it was the bit about cutting was non readable as the label had been wet before and didnt open right so peeled that bit off. Sure if wanna blame me for gettin pesticides banned be my guest cause i couldnt giv a flyin f... i only came to ask a question before i did the job as i didnt know the answer so whats ur point?

I think that attitude sums up the problems of farmers and the use of pesticides.

I sprayed off long term grass for a neighbour. A few weeks ago and they had kylo in mix with glyphosate. It was a mix of 2-4D and glyphosate.

Fields nice and brown now.
Don't forget that that has a surfactant / adjuvant in as well it all helps.
That as Just a reminder To those that aren't arable farmers/ used to sprays / spraying The generic glyphosate thats widely available has nothing but glyph. In it of course
And adding one to that even at high rates of use would help imo if nothing other than to condition water unless I suppose its off a roof .

Fertiliser in Roundup works as a counter to water hardness.

I'm just curious with all the Glyphosate bad press around why anyone would contemplate spaying it before cutting it to feed animals 🤷‍♂️

It’s one reason I stopped doing it, only did it when I was taking a cut of grass to then immediately plant maize. It didn’t sit right making silage that quick after spraying the crop. Has made little difference to the following maize.
