Any roups in Scotland this back end,not seen many advertised.?
A roup is what us northerners call a farm sale.Being a dim southerner I have no idea what a roup is.
Can you get an ointment to get rid of it if one occurs?

No ointment required!!
In the local dialect(called Doric ) in NE Scotland a "roup" is the word used for a farm sale!!
As in, "Fit like I'day? Did ye buy onythin at Jocks roup last wik???"
Translation for those of you who can't speak properly is "How are you today ? Did you purchase anything at Johns farm sale last week?"
Stanfords.........?I now realise that I should be going to a roup on Sunday.
