Royal Bath & West Show with no animals?

Says she wants the livestock replaced by a bigger hortic tent. Silly moo. Our gang are at the Suffolk Show, up at 5 this morning washing and grooming. No offence to the hortic tent but I doubt you would get teenagers to show that level of engagement in prepping a bunch of carrots. The social and mental health benefits of showing are immeasurable, be it kids with issues or adults living in isolation.

That's just what PETA want apparently. Pillocks.

It maybe what they want, but if you read the full article including the letters at the end, they're not going to get it.

I’m sure PETA just pull these sorts of stunts to get into the media, and therefore free advertising and the impression of ‘punching above their weight’.

Best ignored.

Show ground at Shepton Mallet, spent long weekend at Festival. Biggest and first in UK a year after Woodstock in USA. Peace man✌️

Doesn't that fit in well with the anti showing highly functional sheep and cattle breeders, won't the cattle answer sheep breeds be better off for there being no shows

When I read the op I thought, well that's me never going again then.
Not what the article says at all though.

I will be there on Friday, it would be nice if I could find where I put the feckin tickets though. Forgot to take them last year, can't even find them this year.
If anybody is there tomorrow afternoon I would very much appreciate it if you could put up a pic of the apple juice results in the cider tent. They publish most results pretty quick but never them.

Publicity is exactly what they want.

If you ever find yourself in a situation where you really want to shut a PETAphile up, just ask them why their US branch kills so many of the animals that end up in their "shelters"...
