Did anyone attend? Was there a good crowd of commercial stands, demos and visitors?

I didn’t know it was on and wouldn’t have gone even if I knew because I don’t intend spending on anything big under any current circumstances. It’s not the number of people attending that is important but the ratio of serious potential buyers to tyre kickers. This increasingly means contractors and large scale farmers which are far fewer in number than expected only a few decades ago.

Judging by the pictures above, a film crew and some stewards. Didn’t know it was on, then again I didn’t go to the demonstration when it was in Pembrokeshire!

I was there took the kids for a day out so definitelya tyre kicker. good day but didn't think it was as big or busy as the rhug one. I was stewarding in rhug though so didn't get to see much at all apart from arguing with people trying to sneak in for free :cautious:
Claas weren't there and I'm pretty sure krone weren't either. Only saw one John deere forager there don't think there were any others there.
Very good display by emyr Evans for massey, jcb and mchale and by mona tractors for John deere.
There was a field of silaging from new Holland and kuhn, mcormick and pottinger, case ih and kubota and maybe another as well but i didn't go round there much only walked to the gates was too rough to push a pushchair back and forth round the field as well. Only went at all because daughter likes orange and kubota were at the far end
Finally met @Kevtherev after years of buying seeds and getting advice over the phone.

Do they charge to get in to see a bunch of reps trying to sell you expensive machinery?😲

No wonder it was quiet!

Not bad £10 for adults £5 for kids 6-16 and 0-5 year old free. (That's why mine went with me 🙃 😅 ) I spent more than that at the bar.
It's meant to raise money for clwyd to host the royal welsh show so I don't think anyone is going to make any money from it cheap out really.

O I must be odd one out then
Most I know on fb .
Most I know on FB but don’t use it. It’d be less than once a month I go on it. I didn’t know this Grassland event was on, silly to have it when half the country are already chopping. At least the one in stoneleigh used to be done mid April so the customers could actually attend.

Same as @vantage i didn’t go to the one in Pembs either a few years ago
