Rozmital tedders?

I have a six rotor 6.7m Rozmital tedder and would say its a well made machine that does a good job,I have only broken a couple of tines over the last four seasons, the only negative is that it folds down a bit far so is hard to clear the ground at the ends when turning around,I was going to get spacers made to fit in the rams to limit the stroke slightly but not done as yet.
I would have no problem in buying another one

Went and looked yesterday, looks a proper built machine very strong, we purchased anyway!

I have had 2 of these, a 4.5m and a 5.4 m (I think) the two smaller models anyway, the 4.5m one was amazing, broke no tines and did a lovely job, the next model up with bigger rotors was crap, it broke tines left right and centre, a mate has the 6.7m one which again has the smaller rotors and this is also brilliant, the Model after that is on the bigger rotors and I’d avoid it. 4.5&6.7m are very good tedders in my opinion and experience.

Hi All - I am looking some advice re optimum tedding parameters. I used 2 rotor 454 last year for the first in heavier silage crops. Fair to say I was experimenting and left it lumpy for my baler man (he is on here - he was awfully nice about it). Used it on lighter second cut the year previous and no issues.
Spoke to Rozmital dealer in England and they suggested low revs and low forward speed. That just balled everything up no matter how slow I went.
So what do you guys do in heavier swards, rpms - any settings on the tedder etc etc.
All advice welcome.
