RPA Complaints time frames? Any communications

As it says really - I have had a complaint ongoing and repeating ad-infinitum since 2016 which keeps repeating because its never resolved until the next claim year has started, thus the claim is processed with the entitlements error still in situ, or the entitlements team reverse the complaints teams work. Since Feb 2018 I have heard nothing at all, and the Helpline cannot put anyone through to anyone, only request call backs (which surprise surprise have never happened).

I appreciate they are short staffed and drowning in complaints - But surely they must be able to give some basic numbers? Such as how many complaints outstanding still? How many received, and how many solved each month and where you are in the Q? (That said it appears the Q jumps about.... a complaint from 2016 half worked out and then left for ages while neighbours complaints are made and resolved in under 8 weeks).

They would save alot of time just communicating and saying "no progress but your still in the Q!" rather than radio silence.

There is no hope, no resolution without a big investment of time, effort, expense on your part. Involve MP , then parliamentary ombudsman or challenge their decision making through the high court.....or just suck it up and move on.
Defra investigating itself is never going to work in a complainants favour. It’s bias, it’s unfair so don’t let it feature too much in your life.

You do get somewhere if your persistent enough !, it’s took me a year but I have a direct dial number now. How long it’s still going to take to sort out is anyone’s guess, but I have told them I’m going all the way however long it takes or whatever I need to do ie my MP for parliamentary ombudsman (I already have that all sorted and ready to go if all with RPA fails)

It was there helpline that told me I was eligible and what to claim it as, on that basis I bought entitlements which I’ve now lost and not seen a penny since the scheme began !.
