Havent heard about this lately, is this still the case
Got a few fields I want to reseed

Both of those operations mean that it’s been ‘cultivated’. As long as it doesn’t contain any rare species then I think you can just crack on.
if you want to cover your arse completely, it might be sensible to find out the official definitions from RPW and get an agronomist to write a note that it meets them?

I rang them years ago ,we had a field here that hadn't been ploughed ever since dad could remember
They rang back and said they looked at all the satellite photos and said could see we had fert and sprayed it and cut or grazed regularly so carry on

Wasnt sure if the rules were still there
Last time this block was plough was about 15 year ago

I’m not aware that anything’s changed, and sometimes better not to ask?

Official line is if it's more than 25%ryegrass and clover then carry on

in wales anyway as long as the land is improved and not semi natural then you could plough and use a root or reseed or combinable

yes you got more than 25% rye and clover
