RSI from hedger controls

Having my hand constantly clasped around the joystick of the hedgecutter was never an issue before , but this year am suffering from fingers being really stiff even after a short time . Not much can be done about it or is there ?

Have you got the controls mounted slightly different if they are on the seat arm rest for example is it set too high so your arm is in an awkward position causing bad circulation ? I get a similar thing if I have my sleeve pulled up restricts blood flow and my hand gets pins and needles

No its in the same position as other years but perhaps its not best positioned. Dont have it on the armrest but just beside it. Possibly not the most ergonomic long term , I dont know. Just doing longer hours on it this year.

I had to change from cable controls due to the pains in my fingers and wrists right up to my elbows
