RTK Options

My NH autosteer ready tractor is unlocked to RTK but currently on Rangepoint.

What options have I got to go RTK and what extra hardware is required? How reliable are the systems via a simcard as I travel over a fair distance so I don't think a home base station would work.

Happy to talk you through the options we have and organise a demo for you. These days SIM card delivered RTK is much more reliable given the improvement in modem and SIM card technology. If you haven't got a modem installed already and have a Trimble 372 installed we can supply a modem for £400 + VAT. If you'd like further info give me a call on 07899807389 or [email protected]

Take a look at SoilEssentials ... they've provided nationwide Ntrip RTK signal for over ten years and cover all receiver brands including NH and JD. Support is provided from their office in the UK with an array of diagnostic tools if ever required ... and being Trimble dealers for the North of England and Scotland can supply the proper modem for a 372. Hi.
We have the exact same set up, rtx running range point and the the 372 receiver is unlocked to rtk. After buying the modem to support the sim card what are the ongoing costs ? Thanks

If it's unlocked to RTK it should work with Centrepoint, perhaps Centrepoint Fast. If it works with Centrepoint Fast you can get a sub for £675 per year from Vantage with no extra hardware requirements. From my experience you get most of the benefits of RTK - no drift, similar accuracy. I think RTK only bests it on slower really high accuracy work ie root crops

The infrastructure costs to providing RTK or indeed Centrepoint RTX are considerably higher than those for Range point. That's why the cost is higher. Accuracy and repeatability requirements are very much unique to every farm and system so it depends what will provide the best value for you.
