Running a 240v 600w pump off solar

Remember that the 13 lpm is based on 24 hour pumping - it will probably need to be twice that for half the time.

I can’t honestly see it working economically for a battery and solar system. How about a petrol engined pump and refill every so often.

Ok, thanks all. For various reasons it looks like it’s a non-starter but I really appreciate all your contributions. It’s saved me spending on a system that doesn’t work!

Ah!
when you say ‘spray irrigation’, do you mean ‘irrigation’ or are other forms of irrigation permitted?
I believe it means no sprinkler of the type you can set and leave. So hand held and drip hose is fine.
To be certain you should check the rules with the EA.
in my garden i sometimes stretch the rules a bit, but am sure I never get anywhere near the 20CM limit
