My wife and I are becoming Mature (39&42) students in September at the RAU, having spent the last 20 years working as a "live in" rural Estate management couple. I will be looking to become a land agent after 20 years of practical graft, so this may be a bit of a shock to the system!
Having always lived in tied rural accommodation, we would like to rent a comfortable property in the countryside, and if possible offer assistance while doing so. Given the demands of study etc. I would be able to assist with pest control/crop protection and farm security on a full time basis (I have many years of experience, as well as FAC upto .308 and shotgun.) plus game keeping/tractor driving/firewood/material handler/maintenance experience available ad hoc.
1 small, well trained dog, no children or dependants. Incredibly respectful of all property & livestock.
