Not entirely, there is an inter connector between Zebrugge and somewhere on the south or east coast.ok, i got hold of the wrong end of the stick.
I think this is quite common for any capped recently. All old Household waste dumps emit gas. Could it not be captured and burnt? I know there are some old sand and gravel pits in our county that were lined with clay and capped of.
Just a thought!!

Completely agree with you there, there is a large one near us so all household waste goes there nowI think this is quite common for any capped recently.
Personally I think incineration waste to energy is better - get the energy at source and don't pollute the ground.
It was explained very simply on Radio4 this morning. Russia has got good at creating mini crisis at the door of Europe with the aim of Europe asking for help so it can extract favours.
Putin and Co are very good a Geopolitics. Europe should never have relied on Russia for gas. A lot of people will have to go cold to stand up to Putin. He’s holding a very strong hand.
Too simp!e, how dare you suggest sensible things! What I am getting at is that we could use the burning to produce power like an AD plant and tap it into the grid. Could that not be possible?
Maybe I am daft.

Still haven't got any or double glazing and insulation hereCold? Cold? However did we live before central heating?
Heat less rooms, wear more clothes, Sleeping bags and thermal underwear easily available.
God we've gone awfully soft. Don't cry just prepare for the worst.
