What are others thoughts? Just read they do the grass measurement by satellite, saying why waste your time walking and plonking? I have been looking at walking round the farm once a week, as actually great for my fitness, waist measurement and overall well being to have a walk and not quad bike ride once a week!

I spoke to them about it a few months ago, in their defence they wouldnt say not to do a grass walk (as this is a good calibration of the system alongside weighing), but just that it could limit the time required for thw walk/provide greater accuracy.
I do think there's a place for it going forward, especially on larger units, and also if it can build in grass management decision tools/carbon sequestration etc. Just my opinion though. Still to take up the trial offer they have too

Farming connect and precision grazing has done a project comparing that to a plate meter over a period last year. Not accurate enough was basically the end result
