Hi,

I'm Falguni Ashar, an incoming international vet student and will start the graduate entry course at the RVC this September.
I would like to gain experience with dairy cows (at least 90 cows) in the first two weeks of December 2020. I am based in Central London and hence would prefer to work in London. I am a very keen learner and would be happy to help out with any work required.

Please reply to this thread if you would like any more details from me.

As said on other student thread, ask West point vets, they look after some herds round north London. There's a couple round the M25

As pointed out above, you will struggle to find work if you need to stay in London- especially given the unsociable hours you may need to work for a worthwhile dairy placement. Many farmers who take vet students are either prepared to let them 'live in' for a couple of weeks or have a caravan or a cottage they can let them use, or you may need to take a b and b. Good luck - the first vet student we ever had was from central London and she lived in with us. We are already taking three students this year so can't help any more I'm afraid.
