S4C Fermio V country file

How does S4C farming on a Monday evening compare to Countryfile ?
I am not Welsh speaking so subtitles come in handy but is everything rehearsed beforehand?
Some might say eastenders is more about farming than Countryfile

Hardened followers of both probably.
Some got bits on them.
Ffermio Mountains or milk possibly too.

It's far more farmer orientated. Livestock biased though, as you might expect. Puffin produce did appear on one episode, as did my poultry farming neighbour. Spotted my place in the background. :)

As a non welsh speaker I have never watched Fermio but BBC Alba do some great farming programmes. Let’s be honest, you’re never far from a sheep in the islands.

One of the bonuses of studying a Gaidhlig elective at Uni was legitimately being able to watch Farpaisean chon-choarach (sheepdog trials) on TV in the middle of the day as revision.

I think Ffermio is great.
A proper farming programme.
I watch it on S4C on Freesat, is it on Freeview in England ?

The Welsh language makes me smile, I can't understand anything then you get the odd few English words thrown in

S4C is available on BBC iPlayer, with subtitles so you don't have to wait for the odd English word! (y)
