Hi ,

I have an old SAM 2000 lowline self propelled sprayer ( 1996) it’s is /was a great machine until the back right hydraulic motor decided to give up on me .

I was wondering would anyone have or know where there would be 1 of these for breaking or even of any other machines that the same motor was used because at £3000 plus I can’t justify a new 1 and the sprayer is no good to me or anyone else without it .

thanks

We have this for sale in TFF classifieds and will accept sensible offers. It does come with narrow, standard and flotation wheels. https://www.classifieds.farm/listing/28540/ Sands -.html

Try White House products in Scotland I think, very good for all things hydraulic.I’d imagine your motor is a poclain so maybe worth googling some plant dealers.
nick…
Yes it is , I was on to them directly but they wouldn’t give me much info and only deal wholesale

Not just Sands , but be very careful if you buy second hand and try and fix yourself or else you will be looking for four new motors plus the whole pumps and shooting match !! Has to be clinical with regards keeping things clean and not allowing dust/ crap into the system. Would pay to get someone with a filtration system and knows what they are doing as any crap/ dirt will destroy a motor or motors in minutes , the tolerance is that fine .

Is that a new policy with them I've used them a couple of times 🤷‍♂️
poclain I meant not Sands , sands have as always been very helpful and have the motor but I’m just struggling to justify it new because of the age and value of the sprayer .
probably also because I’ve already spent 2 grand trying to recondition the bad 1 🤮
