What do you mean by gearbox? The transfer or hi/lo box? I would guess that parts would be hard to source now. IIRR the earlier J24S and the later models did have a few mods to various parts of the machine. The axles were different for one thing that I remember.

the Hi/lo, parts are as rare as hens teeth. Ideally need one sat in the back of a breakers yard somewhere but I have my doubts if I’ll find one.
