Hello folks hope your all having as good a new year as the current covid allows.... I have a same Dorado 85 ...had it just over a yr got it with just 1150 hrs on it ..good clean tidy tractor really pleased with it....everything works except the heater...it blows cold air but not hot....being an air cooled tractor it has some form of element that creates the heat ...somewhere in the cab roof I believe....it has a second alternator that does nothing but provide power for it.... alternator is good but no heat.... has anybody ever taken 1 to bits...I'm assuming it's a whole cab roof lining out job.... seem to be the only guy whose got a Dorado round here and cant get much joy from even folk who sell same tractors.... be grateful if anybody with any experience could give me some pointers cheers

Heater in my Same didn't work so I had the alternator fixed, didn't cure it and tbh I gave up.
The alternator guys said it had an external rectifier, maybe your external rectifier is easier to find and check rather than straight in to the element.
Mine was a Frutteto and the element was pretty easy to access

Cheers... I asked about this on a same owner's site as well at the same time and sombody else suggested the alternator was different with its rectifyer up in the cab roof... so it's all giving me some things to check over....thanks for getting back to me young man 👍
